Making effective use of Header tags
Headers count (Tip 11)
When a Search Engine analyses an HTML page it has to sort out what is important within the page. Modern design layouts can have an awful lot of HTML, script and style code in page before it starts on the main text for a page.
A web designer might be tempted to use FONT and CSS to make the page's main text stand out more, but it is better to use HTML standard headings H1, H2, H3,... H6 as the search engine may choose the header text as a considerable influence on determining what a page is all about. Of these H1 is analysed as the most significant and will reinforce the main subject of the page.
