Site Vigil™ / Upgrade

Version 4.5 Build 50 - HTML validation of web pages, fast search position scan

This version is an incremental upgrade to Site Vigil builds 31 through to 50. Monitoring settings are forwards compatible from all these builds.

Configuration and data files are backwards compatible. Please backup your configuration settings (using the Export feature in Options screen) and configuration folder contents before upgrading.

Release date 5th March 2004.

It contains the following enhancements to existing functionality :

• The search is now done across multiple search engines at the same time, so that the results are available much faster.
• The monitoring of pages and whole sites can check the validity of the HTML contents of each page. Any deviations from the HTML4.0 standard are reported and can be analysed.
